Rutgers or TCNJ for History Major?

<p>So I want to major in history (preferably European) since it has always been my passion. I was thinking of possibly teaching and would want to get a masters degree as well at some point-anyway, which college would be better for a major in history? Distance plays a role as well since I preferrably wish to commute and TCNJ looks more attractive in that sense in that it is only 30 minutes away while Rutgers New Brunswick is 45-50 minutes away.</p>

<p>I am confident I will have no problem being accepted into either school, so that isn't a problem. </p>

<p>They are both good schools, although TCNJ is much smaller. Since you will be commuting, I think I would choose the closer school.</p>

<p>I commuted for all four of my years at Rutgers University so I understand how important of a factor it can be. Regardless of which school you choose, I think it’s helpful to see what kind of classes you’d be taking and what your major requirements might be.</p>
