I’m a senior days away from picking my school. I’m currently deciding between RU, TCNJ, and Stony Brook for most likely the natural sciences or a pre-dental track. Rutgers has many majors and is familiar, TCNJ is a very academically focused school but only offers a bio major, and Stony Brook has a great pre-med and dental program but is far and unfamiliar. Any suggestions?
Sounds like TCNJ might not have the diversity of majors you seek. And it sounds like you are from NJ. Is there a significant cost difference between Rutgers and Stony Brook?
Are you more of a homebody or would you prefer to move beyond your comfort zone?
of those three TCNJ is the strongest academically by quite a margin. Nevermind how many majors, do they offer a
major that is of interest to you is all that really matters. If you like the smaller classes and personal attention of what is basically a small college with great academics goto TCNJ. You will also be surrounded by similarly driven students
from all kinds of majors as the schools acceptance standards are pretty selective and getting more so. Good luck.
