I am a new jersey resident and got accepted to both schools. After scholarships and all they are both equally priced. I am undecided to which schools would give me the best chance for job opportunities? At Uconn the major is Management and Engineering for manufacturing where you have a dual degree in engineering and business. At Rutgers its Industrial And Systems Engineering where you can concentrate in financial systems. At Rutgers though I might be able to save money by commuting a little, but if uconn is a better school for this kind of major I don't want to blow it off. Any help is appreciated?

I can’t comment on the specifics of the programs, but my son looked at the engineering programs at both schools and my general impression is that they are roughly comparable. If cost is comparable, you might want to consider whether you want to be in a city or in the country.
