Rutgers Presidential Scholarship!

Hi.

I found out today that I got a 2230 SAT and I now have a 2240 superscore.

I know that Rutgers' scholarship cutoff is 2250, but will I still be able to qualify?

Has anyone gotten full ride with an SAT below 2250?

If I cannot get Presidential, what other scholarship options are available?

I need your advice!

Thanks!

They have a list of all the scholarships online (presidential and everything below it.)

I think Rutgers also requires a minimum of 4.0 GPA for the Presidential Scholarship.

For future reference, you’re not supposed to bump your own thread every 2 flipping minutes. Wait a while and then post the occasional bump.

4.0 weighted because my school only has weighted… and I have above a 4.0 weighted.

That was a question above.

My kid just got Presidential Scholarship to Rutgers with a combined SAT of 2220, so they do consider students below 2250. We were very surprised.

@gofunkymama- do you mind sharing what your son’s GPA was and which school he received the presidential scholarship for? i have an SAT of 2390 and didn’t get one, nor did some of my other friends with 2350s, so we’re all a bit confused haha

Which school gofunkymama? I know some people who got full ride to pharmacy but not to business…

and Lily8476’s question as well.

Also, was there any score below a 700 on the SAT?

@Lily8476 perhaps you should be a bit more appreciative of what you did get rather than what you didnt. Quit *****ing about it.

I really don’t know the exact method they use to determine scholarships. I have read the parameters on the website, and those parameters do not always strictly apply.

I think they use the essay as well, when determining scholarships.

publicdomaininfo- they have a Dec 1 application cutoff date for scholarship consideration and you must submit all academic credentials by Dec 15, so they still may be considering those who have just submitted scores.

Are GPAs weighted or unweighted for consideration?

@Lily8476

She got into SEBS in New Brunswick. Weighted GPA is over 4.5.
