Howdie! I'm currently looking at colleges and scholarships. My goal has always been to get a full scholarship from Rutgers. Did anyone here get offered one and doesn't mind offering their credentials? I just wanted to know if I should retake my 2240SAT with a 4.33 gpa. Thanks

Isn’t the requirement to have an SAT score of 2250+? If it hasn’t changed, then you may NEED to retake…

My son received this award and is a freshman at Rutgers now. His SAT score was a 2320; I do belive the cutoff is 2250 and higher. GPA was similar to yours - 4.3 or so. Also pay attention to the application deadline. The good news is you find out pretty quickly.

The Rutgers admission office says 2250 isn’t reqd. I asked them why their website says it is and they say it’s not mandatory. There is no definitive score needed so you seem like a strong candidate. Not many kids with your scores enroll so go for it.

I was offered a Presidential Scholarship. My SAT score was not a 2250+, which shows that it isn’t a requirement. I was offered the scholarship to the school of Arts and Sciences.

My D is offered Presidential to SEBS, but something smaller-Trustee, $16K/yr to SAS.
SAT: 2280(720/790/770) and ACT: 35(36/36/36/33), both one sitting and submitted both. GPA is 4.0 UW. She is OOS, not sure if that affects consideration.

Yeah sorry I just double checked. I was offered the Presidential scholarship to the SEBS and the Trustee scholarship yo the SAS

Does anyone know what the trustee scholarship at Rutgers is? Is it only for the Newark or Camden school because I do not see it listed on the scholarships for Rutgers.
