Rutgers, Rowan, or TCNJ for biology??

Hi my name is Rebecca. I am apart of the NJ STARS program and am currently attending my county college. I want to presue a career involving animals and nature so I am pretty much going to major in Biological Sciences. I was set on going to Rutgers University for their wide variety of programs for the sciences, but I am still not sure if I will like the environment it is in. I am also looking into TCNJ and Rowan University. Which do you think is the best school for Biology and which will give me the best oppurtunities and education. And which looks best on applications?

All have pros and cons. I think the bigger questions are

1) how much money can you afford - prices will be very different
2) how do you feel about big school/small school. Rutgers will have many more opportunities but you have to find them (and compete with more people) - at the large university, you don’t have as much direction or feedback. At TCNJ and Rowan you will be able to access professors easier, and will get more guidance.

Also, TCNJ is rolling admission (although I am not sure how they treat transfer from CC) so apply early and you’ll know quickly - that way you have time to sort it out.
