Caprisun you find it in the enrollment pathway. Also I was accepted two months ago and had my fafsa and financial aid papers all sent in by the end of February and still haven’t received my initial offer. I’m assuming they have to send them out before May 1 so people can make a decision. I might call them this week and ask why it’s taking so long because I need to know.

Lexsi did you call them or email? When I email, I just get the automated email stating that priority applicants will be notified by admissions by April 15th lol

Rutgers Camden- Admitted
Rutgers NB- Waitlisted

I want to go to nb, but obviously i was waitlisted. Does anyone know if i accept camden and i get into NB i can go there instead?

braveman: i would call up New Brunswick and ask…it’ll even let them know you’re obviously interested in New Brunswick

what were your stats? i still have no response!

hey, i have applied to Rutgers NB and finished everything early January, but didnt get a notice to send an updated transcript till early march. (bc my CC decided not to send one of my grades in for some apparant reason) so… i have not heard anything back from RU yet. I am very nervous that its taking too long. but i have gotten in last year to the engineering school of Rutgers, but had to go to a CC b/c the school i was planning to go to (UMD College park - engineering) wasnt happening due to family matters. here are my stats…

High School
Gpa - 93 (unweighted); 96 (weighted)
SAT - 1810; 750-Math; 550- Writing; 510 -CR(yea… bit low)
Took AP Calc, AP Psych, AP Chem (4) (didnt take other 2 AP bc couldnt afford it)
4 years football, 3 years of community serivce club, 4 years of youth group, 1 year of basketball/wrestling
Last year; was admitted to all the following engineering schools
Penn State, Rutgers, Northeastern, University of Maryland.

This year at the CC…
1st semester -3.33 (noted i had to take care of my family and had to work 35+ hours for some extent of time)
realized not alot of my credits would transfer over bc my CC kinda messed me up with all my courses, for example not allowing me to take Gen Chem 1, despite meeting hte pre-req.
2nd semester -4.0 (as of now i have gotten all A’s)
as a transfer student, was so far admitted to
TCNJ, Richard Stockton College of NJ.

so i was wondering if my chances are still good to get into any schools of RU. i applied to the business school (dont really care if i get in there); engineering school and schools of arts and sciences. really nervous bc i really want to go there, and i havent heard back yet… :/

thanks so much!

I noticed my financial aid offer was available today. I was accepted mid-March.

Yea I got my initial offer today too after waiting 2 months. It didn’t have any scholarships on it at all so I think they might be awarded at a later date, if I’m getting any. It didn’t have my NJ STARS on it either though.

accepted into new brunswick SAS!! so happy to be going home after two years :D

COngrats chrissey C

Congrats Chrissey!

Got denied to SAS and SEBS

4.0 GPA, 21 college credits, Phi Theta Kappa member

lol ***

iAtonish, WHAT?! Have you called?!

They need to put on their website that they do not reccomend Freshman transfers, because that seems to be the story here…

Lol yea i called, i got student worker who said someone would call me within 5 business days. Im really surprised by this, as ive been contacted by more prestigious universities.

Sent from my droidx

It’s definitely the amount of credits…you should try for spring then you will get in no problem

iAstonish deserves to be admitted thats bull*****. Make sure you send an email and a phone call.

Low credits could be a possibility of rejection

Exactly. Number of credits as well as types of classes you have taken.

i dont understand why they take amount of credits into consideration. isnt that why we send them the high school transcript if we are below a certain number of credits?

I’m going to go a different route with school I think. 21 credits, isn’t much, but it shouldn’t have gotten me rejected either. I could see if my GPA was borderline and they wanted to see more of a workload, but I have straight A’s.

@iAstonish: did you apply as a high school senior too? are you instate or out-of-state? what other schools have you heard back from as well?
(sorry for being a bit skeptic, but i’m still waiting for a response from Rutgers, and i submitted my app early january)

Junwon, colleges don’t care about your high school transcript anymore once you have started taking college courses. My bro never took the SAT and was ranked 200+ out of 300 students and got into the business school in New Brunswick as a transfer.
