@Ankii1996 Hi there! I believe that transfers cannot register for courses until they attend “STAR” day. Although some courses are full, there are spots reserved for transfers, as they always anticipate some.
@YesPolyglotGal I feel like we’re the only ones who haven’t heard back!
@tiffhenriques I know, right? It seems that way. I hope that it only means our applications were pushed to the back of the pile rather than being grouped with rejections or something. It’s quite upsetting and it’s stressing me out, as I have other paper work due.
OMG. UPDATE!! I JUST GOT INTO SAS AND SEBS
@YesPolyglotGal OMG. I am beaming rn- so happy for you!! That’s awesome
I feel like I’m the only one left lol
@tiffhenriques Omg I think you are going to hear back soon. If you applied early on, you will absolutely hear back way before December 5th. Do not lose faith. I was rejected twice (for the fall semester and my reconsideration was denied); SAS, SEBS, and Newark CAS all denied me. It was crushing. But you are trying again, you are taking classes, and you are determined. I honestly think you will get it this time! Everything will fall into place. You’ve got this. DO NOT stress out girl! Keep me posted; you deserve this!!
@tiffhenriques Thank you! I’m still waiting on decisions to come back from other colleges, but it’s definitely a possibility!
has anyone recently found out yet? I’m nervous still waiting…
I found out last month for EWR and NB
Does anyone know how likely it is to get housing for Spring semester at NB?
Not sure. All I was told was that one should submit the application ASAP, as housing is assigned on a first come, first serve basis. I guess that would imply that it’s limited. I do know that recently, Rutgers-NB has expanded and built more dorms. You should really call and ask, as your answer to the question will be 10 times more accurate.
I got it! @YesPolyglotGal is there an FB group for spring transfers?
I have looked on FB and have not yet found a group for spring 2018. The most recent group is the Fall 2017 one. I would recommend looking at it, as there is some good info on there.
