As many of you probably know, Rutgers' application due date is today, and I'm putting the finishing touches on my app for New Brunswick, but I ran into a snag...
I was entering my courses into the "course name" slot, and for some of them I wanted to add some information about the course (for instance, I have a 1/2 credit for Arabic I in my freshman year, but I wanted to note that I actually took Arabic for 2.5 years, but the state wouldn't give me credit for the class.) Obviously these comments don't appear on my transcript, but I was wondering if the admissions officers would get angry if I put notes like this in parentheses next to the course name.
Thanks in advance for your help!

If you do not have school credit for the class, you cannot list it. The SRAR is basically a retyping of your high school transcript. That’s all they want. Any information that cannot be corroborated by your transcript should not be included on the SRAR.

If you studied Arabic privately, you can list that on your application in the extracurricular activities area.
