Rutgers Transfer Fall 2019

I saw a similar thread for Rutgers fall 2018 transfer students and thought of making one for anyone that’s applying as a transfer student to Rutgers NB for fall 2019. I am applying as a transfer for the next fall semester and we can share our stats with each other to help each other out.

Just saw this thread I was gonna create one too! I’m applying for fall 2019 as well!

@nikki123456 Did you send in you application already?

Omg didn’t realize that this was made before I made my thread haha
Anyway, I’m also an applicant for fall 19! I applied to SAS, SEBS, and SMLR. My portal was last updated on 01/02/2019 after rolling over to fall because I was rejected for spring. I hope to hear back soon, as people have already heard back from RBS and SAS for fall 19 transfer. Best of luck to you all!

Did anyone send in their SAT scores?

Guys they updated my status today to “items required— see below” even though I had everything in already. When I appealed for spring 2019 and they still rejected me, I sent in my fall grades but it says “County College Transcript Updated to Include Courses and Grades Through December, 2018”. What is going on? I’m so scared right now

@rutgerstransfer1998 are you sure they got your transcript with your final fall 2018 grades? try calling them and ask what they need

Yeah they received it. I called them about it and the man on the phone told me that they received it already but that I had to send a new one because my fall 19 application is a different application ?. He told me that it would take 2 weeks for them receive.

However, my portal updated today and they received everything already. My cc sent my transcript today and Rutgers got it, thank God! I’m back to “In Process”. I’m so nervous you guys!! I feel like they’re going to reject me again but who even knows at this point

Just heard back and I got into SAS, SEBS, and SMLR for fall 2019!!!
I am in shock because of my stats too!
GPA: 2.8, but I will note that I had an upward trend and a 4.0 last semester while working 2 jobs and about 50 hours per week! You guys, if I got in, YOU ALL CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO!!

@rutgerstransfer1998 Congrats!! I saw your posts from the 2018 thread and knew how much you wanted this. I hope to submit my application within this week and hopefully get a response back soon

Very happy for you @rutgerstransfer1998. Great example that even when all hope seems lost, never ever give up.
A little about me: I applied for the spring 2019 and didn’t expect to get in, and I did get rejected. Any day now I will be submitting my application for semester change, to apply again for fall 2019. I really really hope I get in, and I’ve been doing an online class this winter to improve my GPA more.

I think I will fill out the thing online, and then send them my updated transcript at the end of the month so they can see it with the winter class included that’ll bring up my GPA more.

I just sent my college transcripts in today! I’m waiting patiently to hear back.

Congrats!

I just applied for the semester change today.

@Chandx Thank you!! Wishing you the best of luck!!

@anxioustransfer1 Thank you very much for the kind words! Definitely do the semester change as soon as your new grades come out and send those in as soon as you can! I am rooting for you! I cannot wait to hear about your admission as well!

@nikki123456 Yay! Best of luck! Wishing nothing but the best for you!!

Currently a student at Monmouth and I hate it. I’m applying to transfer to Seton Hall, Rutgers, NB, or Stevens for fall of 2019. Best of luck to everyone applying!

Thanks @rutgerstransfer1998 and everyone. I will wait until the end of this month to send them my latest transcript, however my GPA will only be about a 2.7 even if all goes well :/. Not as strong as a 2.8 or more, but it is an improvement from last time I applied.

@anxioustransfer1 Don’t worry you still have a very good chance of getting in because I know there have been a good amount of people who have gotten into Rutgers with a GPA similar to yours.
