Rutgers Transfer Fall 2019

My page was updated, now it says In Process. Fingers crossed!

@anxioustransfer1 Good luck!! I really hope you get in!

The date on my status screen changed from 1/24 to 2/5 the other day but it still says “in process”. Does anyone know what that means?

Not sure what that means, maybe the screen is updated to show right now?

Also, I just checked my application and was denied already, from the Bloustein school, was was my last choice out of the three I applied. Since i think that’s the easier school to get into at NB, I’ll assume I’ll probably get denied from all three. :frowning:

@anxioustransfer1 I’m sorry you didn’t get good news but don’t give! You never know maybe you will end up getting into another school. Also keep up your grades and maybe you can ask them to reconsider at the end of the semester if your gpa goes up.

Hey, I’m sorry to hear that but that doesn’t mean you’ll automatically get rejected from all schools you applied for and if you wished for your application to be put towards other schools. Also, do you remember when you applied? And what your stats where? As far as credits and everything.

I checked yesterday, and got in SAS nb and SEBS nb. I submitted my application around 15 days ago! Don’t give up people, you guys will hear the good news soon!

@statboys99 Congrats! Do you mind sharing your stats?

I’m starting to get worried because I applied 3 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten a response

@nikki123456 Thanks for the support everyone.

My GPA currently is a 2.78 and I have 57 credits currently not counting the ones I’m taking this semester. By the end of this semester I hope to raise it to at least a 3.0 GPA.

@Chandx 4.0 gpa,currently freshman at college.

I just got accepted at 10:30! I still can’t believe it!! >:D<

Congrats @Chandx !

Thank you! @nikki123456 and @anxioustransfer1
You guys got this too!

How long between when you submitted applications/supporting materials and when you received admission decision??

Guys I got my decision for Newark campuses! I was admitted, but I’m really gunning for New Brunswick! They received all my materials 2/5/19. If anyways wondering how long!

Stats?

Well I think there are a multitude of factors that led to my decision I’ll try to explain briefly and give my stats!
High School GPA: 2.9 (but I went to a top high school in my state/ and my GPA was based on a upward grade trend + increased course load of difficulty) Also there were circumstances that were attributed to my grades being low at the beginning of HS.

ACT: 26

This is my first semester of college and I finished 1st semester with a 3.4 GPA

And this semester I am taking 20 credits and I took 18 credits last semester.

So in my acceptance “explanation” I should say all those factors were included with an emphasis of a strictly positive grade trend. Since the beginning of high school until college I have not gotten a grade lower than a B. I also think I had a strong admissions letter as well.

Sorry if my comment is long! I just thought it would be more helpful to share all the factors in the decision not just my stats!
