Just got accepted last night!!! (Finally)
Hey guys I am Indian with a 3.4 gpa from MCC and I have transferring 38 credits. What are the chances of me getting into Rutgers. I applied for SAS, SEBS,and Labor Management. Thank YOU
@Anxious10 congrats on getting accepted! that means they must have just started looking at transfer applications :o maybe we will all start hearing soon!
@Anxious10 yay congrats!! That means they’re finally looking at transfers. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon! That’s so exciting for you!
@krispatel2017 Hi! I think you will be just fine getting in with a 3.4 GPA. Rutgers only requires a 3.0 for SEBS and SAS but SAS even accepts down to 2.8 GPA. Other schools such as Business look for a 3.1 and nursing looks for a 3.2/3.3. As long as you have no D’s or F’s from the Fall semester you will get in with no problem.
@julbee996 Hi! Sorry for the late reply. NB cares about the cumulative GPA, but they do like to see a positive trend. As long as you have no D’s or F’s from the Fall 2017 semester for Fall 2018 admission, you will be just fine.
@ashtransfer congrats!!! That is amazing. Mine are still in process and am hoping to hear back soon!
@indierach I’m still in process too so hoping I hear back soon!! I’m so nervous for the wait, I hope I’m not waiting until April!
@ashtransfer I think we’ll hear back at relatively the same time since we applied ~2 days apart. Also I was wondering do you know anything about the school of public policy and planning and if it’s easier than SAS?
Hey everyone, I’m kind of confused with the application.
Did none of you put down your club activities? The application only seems to ask for volunteer and community service stuff
@itsjustsam I included my activities in Key Club and UNICEF. That’s about it.
Thank you for you reply!
Did you check off 9 and 10 for how many years you participated in?
I’m a bit surprised that they won’t let transfer students put down clubs that do not do community service down. That’s a bit strange considering that they ask for all club activities from high school applicants
@itsjustsam No prob! I checked off 10 11 12 for Key Club and then only 10 for UNICEF. I also put in my employment status and stuff. Also I know it’s weird but they also don’t ask for a resume so maybe this is why.
I applied to Rutgers NB SAS yesterday and am just waiting for my status screen to go live and send in my transcripts. I am currently a freshman at ASU with a gpa of 3.52. My SAT score was 1270/1600 when I last took it in 2016. Do u guys think I have a shot at getting in?
Hey Guys I am a MCC student getting my associates and transferring with a 3.2 I applied for

Rutgers NB BS

i think you are good to go. (Thumbs Up) shmit7
@indierach I believe it’s the same to get in credential-wise! Just when you join the school the curriculum is more specific than SAS.
@itsjustsam I included myself having been in the fire department and volunteer work I do with my job for a local food bank, but didn’t include any clubs. I’d say if you did clubs, find a way to squeeze them into your essay so they’re aware of your involvement
I got accepted to NB SAS!!
