Rutgers, UCB, NYU, UVM, Lehigh, Scranton

Okay...first off I'm expecting to get picked apart pretty bad here...but here goes:

SAT: 1870 (Taking it again in October)

ACT + Writing: 30 Composite, 9 Essay (Waiting on September scores)

AP US Government & Politics
AP Physics B
Calculus (H)
German IV (H)

PE/Gym

Recommendations:
I am well-liked by nearly all the teachers that have had me, so getting a letter of rec should be no problem.

EC's:
Key Club
Marching Unit
Concert Band
German Club
German Honor Society
National Honor Society
Stage Crew

So...gimmie the bad news...

You should be fine at Scranton, Rutgers, and UVM (I’m assuming that’s University of Vermont).

Lehigh and NYU are reaches. Your GPA/test scores are pretty low for those schools, but if you can get 2000+ on the SAT or 31 on the ACT you’d have an alright chance. Your GPA might be your downfall, though.

I’m assuming UCB is Berkeley? Yeah, realistically you don’t have much of a chance with those scores/GPA, but there’s nothing wrong with having one super reach school.

Thanks yankeesfanatic.

Yes, UVM = University of Vermont, UCB = University of California, Berkeley

Huh…maybe things aren’t so dire…:)

Hate to bump the thread, but how will my chances be at UDel, Pitt, and UMaryland be?

Also, the ACT was improved to a 32 composite.
