I got deferred, 4 months of aimlessly waiting to get deferred. From not one, but BOTH schools I applied to in Rutgers.
me too, from both schools as well (bs and sas) truly is a shame. waited 4 months, I guess we will have to wait another 2
Yup, it’s brutal, SoE and SAS for me. Did you apply test optional?
yes, that probably could have been a major reason
Oh ok, maybe that’s consistent for most, best of luck to you.
deferred from CS and Comp eng … 1500 SAT, 3.88 GPA… Out of state
deferred BS and SAS- 3.6, no scores, in state
is it really very competitive this time around or are there just too many apps to look at?
Son got admitted to SOE - Comp Engg on Dec-17th.
Now Deferred for SAS and SBS crazy seems they are not doing any work lol
I’m assuming just too many apps, a lot of in state people because of everything with schools not opening
I wouldn’t be worried if you were deferred. There are most likely just way too many apps.
Daughter just got admitted to NB SAS!!! RBS is still in process, but SAS is her #1 choice.
anyone know if we can submit extra materials if we got deferred or waitlisted?
does anyone know usually how long it takes for a decision to come out after deferral? I honestly don’t know if I can make it through another 2 months.

Yup, you can update your SRAR.
Besides the SRAR? Can we submit resumes, extra Rec letters?
Not entirely sure, reach out to admissions about that.
i’m assuming we shouldn’t send a LOCI right, especially since it is a state school (i personally do not think they would care but i’m not sure)
They really care mostly about grades and scores. How are your senior year grades compared to other years?
