Congrats! Question… Were you deferred to RD? The financial aid instructions say to update if you were deferred, but does not indicate that you need to if you just applied RD. My D applied RD & I have not been sure if we need to update it or not, based on how many people mention updating their SRAR and then getting response.

Has anyone who got deferred from RD not heard back at all yet? My D has Newark left to hear from and my stats are well above their requirements, so we are confused.

Yes! I got in and applied test-optional

Does Mason Gross have an honors program?
Selected students from Mason Gross, along with students from the other colleges, may be invited to join the Honors College, a university-wide interdisciplinary program with its own living learning community (the LLC part was effectively lost this year due to COVID). SAS, SEBS, and SOE also have their own internal honors programs, but I haven’t seen an equivalent honors program offered within Mason Gross.

My nephew was deferred EA and is still waiting to hear from Rutgers NB. He was accepted to Newark.

I was deferred EA and I’m still waiting on New Brunswick and Newark for nursing.
Applied in October, deferred to RD still waiting to hear from NB SAS.

I’m in the same exact situation, HMom16, Peephi, and Imagine3. Hopefully, we all can be accepted. Waiting on SAS NB, accepted SAS Newark.
It is so frustrating, I was accepted into every school I applied to and RU is by far my top choice and of course I haven’t heard back

they did that with ea, waited till the last week to release deferrals and rejections (although they also did release some acceptances)
