DD admitted today to New Brunswick, SAS & Business.

Email & portal update.

3.9 UW, 4.4 W honors & APs
No test scores

They just sent out emails @NJdad03.
It says you are into at least one school.

Did they get a major? The email only says accepted to one or more of schools.

I haven’t seen anything about major yet.

I don’t know how to find the major , hoping it will come in decision letter ?

Yes does not say major
 just says CAS

I haven’t got a decision yet either.

Log into your Rutgers application status portal. It will show you which academic program you have been admitted to.

Rutgers application status shows only school name SOE / SAS don’t see the major

what are the steps to check the major accepted ?

Merit scholarships and honors acceptances don’t come until later.

Honors College invites, merit aid, and Honors Programs invites are all separate. Honors College invites are managed by the administration as it is a university wide program (this one comes with merit $$ the HC dorm, etc.) whereas the Honors Programs is a completely different program and is managed independently by the individual schools.

Since the Honors College is a university wide program, those invites have to wait until all acceptances are announced and then those invites are for a particular school. i.e. if you are accepted to both SAS and SOE, you may be offered an HC spot for one but not the other. The HC can only be joined as a freshman.
