Rutgers University Transcript Question

so i got admitted to Rutgers NB SAS.....but they requested my final transcripts ( to other students as well), they said if we dont meet the admission requirements for grades our admission may be revoked....what does this mean according to what grades we get...and do they only see final grades? thanks!

Your high school knows what to send … Usually midterm grades are the final grades of each semester, up through 1st semester of senior year, and then the high school will send grades again once the last semester is final. Transcripts don’t generally show tests and finals, just final grades for each semester.

If your grades are consistent with what you have already been doing, it shouldn’t be a problem; if your grades took a nose dive, be prepared to explain or get revoked. Going from all A’s to all B’s looks okay; going from A’s and B’s to D’s or F’s in any class looks like a nose dive.

in my school there are 4 marking periods…i am generally an A-B student although for marking period 2 i recieved 2 C’s, but the 1st marking periods were A’s and B’s… if my next two marking period grades are b’s my final averages should be B’s correct and i will be fine? the 4 marking period grades will average out to a B is what i am saying correct?

Go talk with your guidance counselor about this. That person can explain to you how your school’s grading system works. And don’t slack off. Yes, it is true that if Rutgers doesn’t like your final grades you can lose your enrollment for the fall. If your high school often sends students to Rutgers, your counselor will be able to tell you your chances of keeping/losing your spot.
