Hello everyone!
I am thinking about going to either rutgers university, in New Jersey, or University of Michigan - DEARBORN (NOT ANN ARBOR).
Can anyone please give me a comparison between the two schools, both academically, based on the ran, and generally about the social lives present at the schools/dorms/type of people there?

Rutgers is a flagship, Dearborn is a branch campus.
Yes, I have a friend who went to Dearborn and it’s really a commuter school. She was sort of lukewarm about her undergraduate experience because it was a commuter school.
Is Rutgers affordable for you?
People who go to UMD typically are typically working and commute for classes, or want to transfer to Ann Arbor. UMD has a lot of evening classes ; there are very few in Ann Arbor. Rutgers is an easy choice if costs are similar.
I agree, Rutgers should be an easy choice.
