Rutgers vs SUNY-Binghamton

I have applied as a transfer student in Spring 2010 and both college has admitted me.
I want to major in Biology or something related to it
and I want to know which one is better:
Rutgers or Binghamton ?
please give me some advice.

Rutgers…

can you please explain a little bit y rutgers is better?

^ If you’re from Brooklyn, NY, why wouldn’t you choose SUNY Binghamton (for its cheaper in-state tuition) over Rutgers?

They are both comparable publics.

Rutgers is ranked in the Top 50 for bio sciences by US News while SUNY B is not ranked. RU has strong support from the NJ ag and big pharma industries which have helped build RU’s bio resources.

Still not worth paying OOS tuition for…

Yeah, Binghamton is a better college, and plus you are instate. My sister goes to bing, my cousin goes to rutgers. I’m not positive about you’re major, but I’d much rather go to bing after visiting both schools.

Bing is hardly a better college than RU. At best it’s a close second.

A couple years ago New Jersey guidance counselors voted Binghamton the #1 university for their students going out of state.

Binghamton is a research university with a small sized grad student population. Would you like to do research side by side with a professor or be a lab go-fer for a grad student?

Go to [College Results Online](http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■) and compare Binghamton and Rutgers; choose the drop down menu to select 4-year results and see how many students graduate in 4 years and how many have to stay 5 or 6.

Rutgers for sure
