Rutgers vs. UC schools?

I just made a CC account today so I'm not sure if this is where I'm supposed to be posting my question.... but I just wanted some advice about what school might be better for me to attend next year. I was accepted to UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCLA and Rutgers this year. The UC schools haven't given me any grants or scholarships (UCLA gave me the $10,000/year Achievement Scholarship) and I am an out of state student so I know it's going to be really difficult to pay back everything after I graduate since the tuition for each of the schools is over $50,000/year. I was given a full ride to Rutgers and if I went there, I would be majoring in pharmacy which is a really awesome program.
However, I want to go to med school and I know if I went to Rutgers pharmacy (a 6 year program), I wouldn't bother applying to med school and would probably just become a pharmacist. My dream is to become a doctor and I'm not sure if pharmacy would be the right choice for me. I really want to attend the UC schools but it seems too costly and I was told that I shouldn't have any loans for undergrad if I want to attend med school. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
Thanks so much in advance and sorry if I'm posting on the wrong forum. :p

Go to Rutgers and fulfill the pre-med coursework as a pre-pharma (they are essentially the same courses), so you wouldn’t have to make a choice until the end of your second year. Heck, you could even do pharma and then med school if you wanted to.

The UCs are not affordable for OOS students. Save your money to pay for med school or for pharma, or for whatever else it is you decide to do with your life.

Rutgers full ride. No question. Congrats on your acceptances!

50k vs 0. Easy choice for me. Who pays 200k for undergrad especially if want med school ?

I know several PharmD grads from Rutgers. They are amazing.
Very accomplished, even as new grads.
Congratulations on the full ride!

Go to Rutgers on the full ride.

Don’t be another one of those NJ residents who wants to go “anywhere but Rutgers” even when Rutgers is the obviously most sensible choice.

thanks everyone for replying! I really took your advice into serious consideration when making my decision and I have decided on attending Rutgers pharmacy. Thanks again.
