It’s been a while, how are you guys? No updates yet anyone?
nope
No updates for me
Nothing here
Nothing yet
My son was just denied from SOE. So that sucks. Still on the waitlist for arts and sciences
Deny from waitlist @ RBS
Denied A&S, still on waitlist for SOE.
Unfortunately denied from SAS. That was my last chance unfortunately.
Denied from SAS, still waiting for SEBS and SOE
Hi all, any updates? Has anyone received anything back from SOE
Looks like SAS filled up, I don’t think they are taking anyone off the waitlist anymore.
Even for school of engineering
Is the school of engineering filled
Don’t know anything about SOE, still waitlisted there myself.
Hi Everyone, Spoke to a gentleman yesterday that handles the transfers from Brookdale to Rutgers. He said that this year was their biggest year yet for incoming freshman applying. He said it was " record breaking". He pointed me in the direction as to what to do for my son as he’s still on the waitlists for SAS. I’m pretty sure from what he said that’s it pretty much a no go. Kinda sucks but at least I know where to go from here if he doesn’t get into SAS.
Did he sat anything about the other colleges?
No hun. unfortunately.
I’m still in disbelief your son didn’t get in. And I feel bad for all the kids here still on the waitlist and in limbo.
I was encouraged by some stories here of kids getting off the waitlist, but at the same time I’m concerned about next year if this year was record-breaking because of the new financial aid program (Scarlet Guarantee?). Since it wasn’t announced until after applications were submitted this admission cycle, I’m afraid next year will even more overwhelming for admissions. Of course, that program would be beneficial for us if my D23 were accepted.
I wish all of you who are on the waitlist (and parents whose kids are in the waitlist) the very best. I hope you find the best place for you.
In case anyone has applied to Rutgers Camden or Rowan, I have a daughter graduating from Rowan and another one at Rutgers Camden. Rutgers Camden is fine if it offers a specific program you want, as it did for my D20, but Rowan has been all around wonderful in terms of academic opportunities and quality of life. I will probably have my D23 apply there because Rutgers seems like it will only get tougher to get into.
Hi all, any updates on the waitlist?
