<p>Elemental is the perfect place for you -- Good food, good wine, sarcastic staff. Seriously, I have had nothing but great experineces there, but its not for everyone.</p>

<p>the only problem with that is you have to go through wallingford to get there.... you dont want to do that.... i swear all of the worst drivers in the whole entire us have decided to reside in that stretch of pot hole infested land....but just go down the street and you get DICKS the best place on earth.....</p>
<p>also i feel the best food in seattle is at la Spiga.... its up on broadway and i think pike...i might be wrong..... best italian food of seattle.... </p>

<p>At graduation weekend there were a fair number of RVs parked down by the pool area, there was partying going on there until all hours of the night over the weekend. We spoke with some parents who were parked there in an RV, but didn't ask how they got permission to do that. I'd just start asking the Parents Coordinator who to contact, she can usually find the right person to ask about stuff.</p>
<p>And you DON'T want to see the price the rooms go to during graduation weekend---we stayed at the Inn at Great Neck for $270/night and booked 11 months in advance. We felt for that price that the Valet Parking, which cost extra (and there was no other way to park) should be pretty instantaneous, which it definitely was NOT. The second time we had to wait 20 min for our car after calling down in advance my husband threw a fit at the desk, and they took the entire valet parking off our bill--not that it reduced the bill by all that much! With so many events going on that weekend and changes of clothes, we wanted to stay close to the Academy, which is why we paid the price.</p>
<p>Last year's Parents Weekend we stayed at the Red Roof Inn which is about 20 min away if you don't get lost (which we did most of the weekend) for $118/night, as compared to one we stay at near our daughter's school in Charleston SC for $60/night. Everything on Long Island costs way more than anywhere else.</p>

<p>KP06mom, I still kinda grin about the vallet parking at that place. Our truck was always under the canopy by the front door & the guy had to take two steps to get it. We gave up on the second day cause it was silly & just went & hopped in the thing without telling them. It was sad. The hubby likes to tell the story to anyone who will listen over & over again. He was steamed. And you know that brick wall leading into the canopy? Well I know a couple of Mids who took the truck, with stereo blasting, and tried to pull it back up that little hill. Well needless to say, the truck is almost too long to fit & we brought home a little present. A 3 ft. gouge down the side of said truck. Hope those KP Mids can drive the big boat a little better..... Truck has now been traded off. LOL</p>
