He's excited; I'm excited...and it's only 4/27...3 whole days early (grin!)...putting the card (and check) in the mail right now...plus, he started back to school today (after discloated/broken ankle & surgery last week)...we're exhausted, but happy...thanks for all the moral support!

Yeah!!!! I'm glad he made his choice so early. :)

Congratulations! Cornell...you must be very proud, and we all are, too!

overanxiousmom congratulations!!!! Now you'll have to change your name to plain old mom, or plain young mom. You don't have to be anxious any more. Cornell is a fantastic school. So many opportunities and a beautiful location. Happy for you.

congrats, cornell is a fabulous school and a great experience for anyone.

Awesome choice :)

Congrats! That's wonderful news. What a relief to have the decision process over, isn't it? I hope he's healing well from the surgery. Have a glass of champagne tonight - you deserve it.

In case you haven't noticed, I have some difficulty containing my excitement! lol, but this time, I'm pressing the exclamation point key gently!

CONGRATULATIONS Overanxious mother and S!!!!!!! I saw his decision in your other post, but this is really the better place to say how happy we all are--especially after his bad luck with the ankle! He's going to be very happy!

Congratulations to Overanxious Mom and S!

(Marite, "hopping from foot to foot"? With a broken ankle? Ouch!)

Thanks, everyone...it IS exciting...

Now, ALL psychic energy directed at Andi's S's waitlists!!!! Anything we can do to help, Anid???

You're all invited to the DC area, any time...such a celebration we shall have--most especially when Andi's S gets off that WL and joins the celebrations!

As for changing my name...yeah, probably I should...but you all know me (and my tendency to over-worry) by now, so maybe I'll just stay as I am...gotta get thru the "separation" anxiety and the "embrace" of the empty nest...still some time to be overanxious in!

Congrats, overanxious Mom!

overanxious congratulations.

And it seems that berurah has found a new toy - big, bold colorful fonts. Perhaps tlaktan was correct in his assertion that parents are easily amused.

Congratulations Overanxious! We have many family members who have gone to Cornell and all have loved it. All the best!

Overanxiousmom,

Yea hooray!!!! That is thrilling news! So glad to know your waiting is over now! Many congrats to you and your son!
