S/NS grading a good idea?

Hello!

Currently doing BIOL180 (#!@@#) and I've been getting more and more worried about my grades. I'm doing about average, but earning that 2.8 or 3.0 (which seems to be so far) doesn't look that good on a transcript that has a nice streak of 3.9s, 3.8s and some 4.0s.

I need it as a graduation requirement, but I'm not sure if I want to continue taking it as graded. I'm wondering if taking the hit in GPA is worth it seeing I can take a different class to fulfil the same requirement (which I'm not taking due to schedule conflicts), but it does mean that I will have to rearrange my class set-ups in order to make room for this new class.

I'm contemplating it as I do wish to get into Grad School, but nonetheless...

What do other people think?

If you can fulfill the distribution with another class then it might be safer to take the S/NS.
