<p>Seriously, if a kid wants to apply to a college, they will apply. Why would changing the application format make a difference...</p>
<p>I disagree, ar31791. I think it makes a difference. Plenty of my friends have said that they like a college a lot, but it's not a common app school, so they're not gonna bother applying. I even know a few who only looked into schools that did the common app and ignored all others. While I wouldn't recommend that at all, I guess some people really don't want the extra work. So certainly some people would apply to a school through common app, when they otherwise wouldn't.</p>
<p>Wow. That's sad that people wont apply to a school because it has a few extra questions to answer...</p>
