I’m currently a high school senior have been accepted into Sacramento State with a GPA of 3.8 and a SAT score of 1500 and I am trying to get into the Honors Program at that school. I’m in a honors program in my high school that seems similar to that of Sac State, so I’ve been used to rigorous courses, but I feel that it’ll probably be a lot different than what I think. What should I expect? Thank you!

I see you have gone a couple of days without a response so, though no expert, I will chime in.
I graduated from Sac State many moons ago and only briefly looked at their honors program when my older son was applying to schools a couple of years ago. He now attends Chico and was in the Honors program for the first couple of years there. Like most things in life, it is what you make of it. If you click with the program, students and faculty, it will be a great experience. If not, you can step out of the program and into normal GE classes.
At a minimum, you will love the priority registration.
