I am currently admitted to Sac State as a psychology major and San Jose in an engeenering major (will try to switch to Psyc ASAP). From what I've heard neither of these two schools have amazing psychology programs, but since I plan to get a Masters from a different school it doesn't really matter. I was just wondering which would be my best choice for psychology.

Both will give you a solid education. SJSU has a much better (though still not great) graduation rate. Though the campuses have similar specs, SJSU has a much more diverse population and is in San Jose. Sac State is on the American River and in Sacramento. That’s either good or bad, depending on your perspective. Housing costs will be much higher in San Jose too. For your major, proximity to Silicon Valley doesn’t really matter.

Tour both schools and their surrounds, I’m sure one will speak more to you.
