Hello all,
My daughter is looking into Sacred Heart University and we have heard that there used to be a high transfer out rate. Is this still true and if so, does anyone know why? She is interested in OT and the university is opening a new health science building. Any objective advice would be great. She is quite enamored so far with this school, and though “happy” students on campus is quite personal, it would be nice to see if there is a negative trend before we commit.
Thanks!
Check the institution’s own stats for sophomore retention and 4 year graduation. That will give you a sense of the transfer-out rate.
Sacred Heart over-performs in this area (as graduation rate relates to tranfer rate), with an actual graduation rate 7 points higher than that statistically predicted.
