Sad..very sad...

ok, so i came out of saturday's sat thinking that i had scored well enough to put myself at a pretty good place to take it again. (i am planning to take it in october..i wanted to score high on this one so i could just focus on the section(s) i needed to for oct)

but now, stupid college board had to be annoying!!!

so i took my test "la-di-da" and i wrote the essay, did a couple of math sections, a reading section and a writing section...then...there was another writing section!!!! ahhh!!!

i was so spooked (plus i think it was harder then the first) that i think i did wicked bad on it...now stupid college board makes the first one the 'equating' section

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

what is the pt of an equating section....

they should do it on the psat or something that doesnt count as much

eerr...and here i was thinking i got a near perfect writing score...gahhh

I think they figure out a scaling for future tests with the equating, but I'm not sure. Collegeboard says its for some sort of statistical purpose to "make it fair". Yeah right. One guy gets an extra math section and other gets an extra super intense writing? CB has an interesting sense of fair. I'm sorry that you got the short end of the straw.

Exact same thing happened to me..., the one math section I actually felt confident on and thought was easy turned out to be the experimental. Isnt that great? Not that bummed out though since this was my second time and I was aiming to imrpove on writing, which totally didnt happen, and reading. Alrdy achieved the 700+ in math so woot. Hmm would colleges question your scores, particularly my math, if it drops too much? Say like a 100pts?
