Sadios

Hello everyone!

I've been accepted to Scripps and I was just wondering how many of the accepted students are going to be attending SADIOS. I'm unbelievably excited about college now that I've been accepted into my top choice! When should we start getting information about housing and whatnot? If anyone has any info the would like to share about Scripps, it would be much appreciated!

Were you ED or RD? If RD, when and how did you hear?

I was Ed, found out December 1st though a scholarship program called Questbridge.

I didn’t know Questbridge had a connection with Scripps college. I know they have Pomona.

Hi Guys,

So, I too have been admitted to Scripps through EDII and am so nervous and excited about going to Scripps. SADIOS sounds like an awesome program to just familiarize myself with the campus and the professors. Does anyone know when registration will be open or approximately when it was open for last year’s incoming freshmen? Any additional info about the program would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks!

Yep! I definitely will. It’s April 11th, right?

I asked Laura Stratton at the JES weekend, and she said it was later in April. Anyone know an actual date?

I am going to Scripps next year, but I’ve visited 3 times and one of those times I did a sleepover. Does anyone have any input on if i should attend SADIOS?

If you’ve been that many times, and done a sleepover, you probably shouldn’t do SADIOS. A lot of the programming will be things you already know (campus tours, talk to current students, etc), and SADIOS always fills up every year, with many students who have not been able to visit previously.
