How good are my chances? I know UChicago is out of the question, no need to elaborate on that one.

Do I stand any chance with any of them? I feel like I have no future as stated by my CAP advisor

I’m sorry, but your SATs and GPA are horrid.
But you’ve got good ECs, which unis want if your grades aren’t top notch. Also, colleges really don’t care about your weight loss.
I don’t want to be the bringer of bad news, but all those schools look like reaches to me- some maybe could be high matches, but…

I understand completely, what does unis mean? Do you think I stand a chance on at least one of my choices?

sdfygsdjkf I feel really mean so sorry

Okay. Um. I think it’ll be…difficult to get into any of those- not just for you, for anyone. Those are top notch schools. I’m a strong believer in you can get a good education anywhere, as long as you try hard. So here’s my advice:

1) Retake the SAT, which you’re already doing. Some of your schools will become much more ‘match-like’ if you even get a 1500.

2) Aim ‘lower’- like more underrated state schools. I myself am applying to almost all state schools next year because I want to save money (which you probably want to do too since you say you come from a poor background). Try schools who care more about you rather than your test scores

I really wish you good luck andddd if it’s not too much trouble http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1402969-rate-me-applicant.html ?

Are you a senior? And is that 1240 on 2 or 3 sections? And where do you live?

Well Bowdoin, Bates, and AU are all test optional so they will in no way consider me based on my scores and more on myself and grades, which I don’t mind because in 11th I did exceptional. I looked at the acceptance rate for some of these schools and they’re not all to bad. Majority are 50% to 68%. I’m waiting for my scores before I think of applying to my state of Florida. I pass all the minimums except for math so I just have to wait. Yes, I am a senior, that’s why I feel I have no future.
