<p>I’m still unsure about what I want to major in and what major best suits medicine. My dad told me that people who go into medicine often take biomedical engineering, so I’m thinking about that along with other science majors.</p>

<p>Well, anything engineering - I’d go with State. But if you want a sciences degree, like chem or bio or anything, I think I’d go with Carolina. Apply to both and you can make a decision later :)</p>
<p>@Tony, yeah I have no clue…I’m a journalism major, so I was definitely NOT looking at engineering schools this time last year :)</p>
<p>If you do end up at UNC, my advice would be to NOT major in something science-y (unless you happen to love and be good at chem/bio). You can still fulfill the med school requirements (chem minor, etc) and your GPA will be happier. But that’s a discussion for another thread.</p>
