<p>Hey part of this is giving your all. Realizing that death is a very real possibility you WILL most certainly face in the military, whether its you, your fellow men, your superior officers, or your enemy. (or in life in general). If your not willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, I suggest a different career choice. Its a scary thought, I'm not going to say I'm callous, or not afraid to die, but I can honestly say my greatest fear is having to tell someones wife and children their father died under my command because of made a bad call, not my own death.</p>
<p>Navy is probably the safest. But then again, I believe the highest fatalities, according to my BGO last fall, are ground aviation crews, Marines, then helicopter pilots. ::not sure this is accurate::</p>
<p>Remember, Uncle Sam chooses where you go. Be happy if he gives you a little say, but don't count on it.</p>
