Safeties and matches: 3.2 GPA, 1430/2060 SAT

3.2 weighted? What’s his unweighted GPA?

I ask because a 3.2 weighted isn’t very good…At least at my school, that would be bad.

My unweighted GPA is a 2.97 and my weighted GPA a 3.75. I took almost all honors classes, so that makes a huge difference…but still…

what is his GPA unweighted?

3.56 average GPA at Indiana

NYU? GW? Wake Forest? Davidson? How could these possibly be matches or safeties?

Bucknell is a reach.

Big isn’t really big after a few months. You end up recognizing about 200 people in that short timeframe… same as high school. You get to know 1) dormmates, 2) some students from classes, 3) kids from any club he gets involved with.

CCSU, probably the best safety-match on the list. And he could get a lot of merit aid with those SAT’s. Hope that helps.
