Safeties for 2250/3.9???????????

I posted my stats on the chances board, so if they look familiar, that's why.
I think I have a good chance at many of the schools I'm applying to, but I really need safeties. I should get into U of New Hampshire and Beloit, but I don't like them that much. I need some safeties that I could really go to and enjoy if I have to. I think I should get into Skidmore, but I'm not sure if it's a safety. Any thoughts?

My list: (in no particular order) I'm planning on narrowing it down a bit
UChicago
Vassar
Wesleyan
Rice
Brown
Case Western
Beloit
Oberlin
U of New Hampshire
Northwestern
Stanford
Skidmore
Cornell

SAT I: 2250 (V760 M690 W800)
SAT II: Lit: 740 US History: 680
US History AP: 4
GPA: 3.85 or so UW, 4.42 W
Class rank: 7/158 (top 5%)
(Freshman year I took 2 non-honors classes, other than that I've taken all honors or APs. I'm now taking 4 APs and 1 honors. My grades have a slight upward trend) In my past 3 years of high school I've gotten a total of 4 Bs- (2 freshman year, 1 each sophomore and junior year)

I've taken math, science, foreign language, and English all four years of high school.

ECs:
Lots of community service, all 4 years (quite a few hundred hours)
A few awards from my school (best in subject stuff)
A lot of awards from marketing competitions (all four years)
Very involved in music, in school and out (all four years)
Very involved in drama club (all four years)
Student council 2 years (other than that, not much leadership)
Debated/judged for 3 years
Work full time for 2 summers, and I just started working part time in September

I'm a good writer, but I usually hate my work. I'm unable to evaluate my essays and I'm much to shy to let anyone else read them. My reccommendations should be okay, but not outstanding. Nothing bad but nothing so good, either.

i'd say Skidmore is a safety

You will definitely get into Oberlin

Someone like you can do better than Skidmore as a safety. How about Colgate/Hamilton/Bucknell/Lehigh.

I would be very happy at Oberlin, so I hope you're right, kcirsch.
And mensa, the schools you mentioned are all great (in fact, I'm afraid they're too good and might not be safeties), but I'm not sure I'd like them. I can't really judge without visiting, but from what I've read and heard, they same to be very preppy, homogenous, and social. I guess most wouldn't have a problem with that last part, but I'm certainly not going to college for the frat parties.

Any other thoughts?

...bump...
