<p>WashU, Cornell, and U of Chicago as safeties? Those schools aren't safeties for anyone anymore. Match schools at best...also look out, because WashU had such a big increase in yield this year that they overenrolled their freshman class by like a 150 kids. WashU is quickly turning into a reach school for so many kids for whom it would have been a good match before. Additionally, U Chicago is becoming more competitive every year, and their applicant pool is slowly turning from self-selecting into an Ivy-esque pool.</p>
