safeties/matches/reaches for me?

I'm a junior right now and am beginning to research colleges more in depth. I have visited a few schools but I have not found any that I absolutely love yet. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

-Female, 1/2 Asian and 1/2 White
-GPA: 3.8 on a 4.0 scale (weighted)
-upward trend in GPA- 3.52 freshman year, 3.65 sophomore year, above 4.0 now
-very competitive public school in MA- doesnt rank, but probably top 20%ish
-most demanding curriculum category (4 APs, lots of honors)
-SATS: 660 CR, 670 M, 760 W
(will probably retake in the fall)
-ACT: 30 composite
-SAT IIs: waiting to hear back, but probably high 600s/low 700s
-lots of community service, good ECs, varsity sports, leadership positions, National Honor Society, etc.
-no financial aid needed

I'm looking for a small to medium sized school, but the smaller the better. I am fine with rural/suburban/cities/etc. I would like to stay probably somewhere in the northeast or mid-atlantic, but I am definitely not ruling anything out yet!
Any ideas for safeties, matches, OR reaches would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!

you have a ton of options. any idea of potential major? feel of campus? any particular activities you would be interested participating in at school

Sorry, I should have added more details-
As of right now, I’m interested in Psychology, but that could definitely change. I also like French a lot.
Feel of the campus: A community tight-knit feel is really important to me (which is why I’m interested in pretty small schools). I definitely want there to be strong academics but also fun at the same time.
Activities: I want there to be a large variety of things to do on campus and ways to get involved, but there isn’t one activity that will make it or break it for me.
Thanks again!

Hmm, have you looked at Wagner College in Staten Island?

Check out Lehigh

For your safety schools, try St John’s College in Maryland/New Mexico. The admission rate is very high (like 75%) and works on a rolling basis. So, as long as you apply early you should be fine.

Thank you! I actually visited Lehigh and liked it a lot, and I’ll definitely check out Wagner and St. John’s. I really appreciate your suggestions, anyone else have ideas?

Try Bucknell, Colby, Bowdoin, Lafayette, Gettysburg, Muhlenberg, Dickinson, Hobart and William Smith, Franklin and Marshall, Hamilton, Colgate, Ohio Wesleyan, and Deninson for a completely random list of preppy LAC’s (minus Bowdoin and Muhlenberg… maybe) in the general area specified.

Good Luck!

Note that St. John’s is only a safety if you like it, and most people tend to love/hate the school. It’s also about as different from Lehigh as you can get. Visit before you use it as your only safety.

Thank you! I visited Colby and Colgate a few months ago and loved them- Colgate is my dream school but I probably wouldn’t get in…

American, Bucknell, Cornell, Fordham, GW, Ithaca, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Geneseo, Syracuse
