Safeties, particularly in New Englandish area?

PC is a pretty damn good school. I would def. add it over Fairfield.

In California you might try Occidental.

Dear, first you need to practice expressing yourself in brief. Your post is a little long but didn't say much about what your college interest might be. That being said, think about these places...

Drew University, NJ
Canisius College, NY
Assumption College, MA
Trinity College, CT

Elon University, NC
Belmont Abbey College, NC
Occidental College, CA
U of San Diego, CA
DePaul University, IL
Loyola University, IL
U of Tulsa, OK

A friend of my D's who is a senior has decided to enroll at Providence. Her stats were (roughly), 95 GPA, 1980 SAT I, good ECs including several sports, lots of volunteer work, National Honor Society officer (NHS is taken very seriously at D's school). Very solid record if not quite up to CC standards. PC gave her an excellent financial package, which tipped the balance away from several more highly rated but pricier schools.

Yeah, not to reiterate...but unless I read that post wrong...Tufts would never be a safety for the OP...
