I was thinking American University and UNC-Wilmington could be safeties but am really doubting that I would get into them for sure.
Any suggestions would be appreciate thanks.

Bump, help please.

Rutgers is a safety for you, but I bet you don't want to go there.

Can you afford the price of Wake? I think you can get in there, although your SAT scores aren't the best, you have good grades and curriculum.

good ecs... just the SATI score..

Yes--I'm taking the Sat over, and hope I can get at least something like 700 V, 660 M, 680 W, but as it is I think I want to go to NC, SC, VA...

I think you have a great shot at all of those schools, particularly Wake Forrest, which I see as a match for you. If you retake the SATs, you actually may have a shot at scholarships...

First of all, I think you have a really good shot at Wake ED. For a safety, how about UNC Asheville? I've heard its the second best UNC school, its really cheap (especially if your in-state), and it accepts close to 80% of applicants. In fact, if you were in-state, i bet you could go there for free on merit aid. Also, you might want to try applying to a school with rolling admissinos (i.e. UConn, Michigan, Florida.) If you get into one of these before December, theres really no need to apply to any safeties.

Thanks you everyone, Wake has rolling ED results so when I send out my application in late August I should find out by mid-September which will give me ample time to apply elsewhere.
