I am Japanese born but a US permanent resident and attend a large public high school (3,500+) in a suburb in Southern California. What would be good safeties (that are financially viable) for me to apply to in case I don't get into my top choice schools (ivy leagues, top LACs, etc)? I am interested in majoring in economics or political science.
