Safety and Match Computer Science

I’m an international student looking for some safety to put on my list and match schools for computer science.
GPA: 3.5
SAT: 1360

Extracurriculum:
-Volunteered at a library for 40+ hours
-Self-Study Python
-Went to several computer science summer programs
-Badminton Club

Others:
Worked at a convenience store over the summer
Don’t need financial aid

Also, I’m wondering if Virginia Tech and Penn State can be considered as safe.

Thank You!

RIT.

Illinois Institute of Technology?

There are no safety schools for international students. It doesn’t help that CS is a very competitive major these days. I can name several schools that accept 60%+ of their applicants in general, but only 10% of CS or engineering applicants. Virginia Tech and Pennsylvania State will be reaches for out-of-state and international applicants with your numbers. Still, there will be a college for you as long as you can afford to be full pay. I am afraid your GPA and SAT scores will be too low for most scholarships in CS.

What is your college budget $$?

If you are full pay then Drexel would be a Match school.

University of Central Florida might be a good school to consider. They have the best CS program in Florida and you’d more than likely get in. If it helps, they have a very diverse campus and it’s located in Orlando so there are tons of internship and job opportunities.
