My daughter is considering going to Trinity. We are from Connecticut and have heard there are safety concerns at the school. Any comments?

Trinity is about 100 acres with a fairly well-defined campus perimeter. Inside the perimeter is safe day or night. Outside is okay as long as you keep in mind that you are in a big city.

ive lived in connecticut for almost my entire life, and while hartford does have its issues, they are primarily centered on the opposite end of the city.
i cant remember any problems regarding safety on the trinity campus

yeah, trinity understandably works really hard to keep their campus safe. i really wouldnt worry about that--from what i hear from some trinity students i know, campus safety is pretty strict and the campus is safe.

I work in Hartford and live right outside of it, and I can say that Trinity's campus is actually very safe. The neighborhood around it is not one of Hartford's bad ones, and your daughter probably won't go into those anyway since there'd be nothing in them that would attract her.

If you're from the Gold Coast or a rural community or something like that, there will probably be some culture shock, but other than that, she'll be fine.
