I should also add that I won the Williams College Book award this year (which is a big reason why I felt that I would be a positive applicant – since I already partially fit what they are looking for). I also won a writing contest for my local Community College, an international “Planting Science” project, my school’s Principal’s High Academic honor award three years in a row, my district’s Pillars of Character Award, am in NHS, attended a pre-med summer program at American university last year, and a photo (that I took) from my farm’s Instagram (which I run) is going to be published in National Geographic’s Childrens Book along with a description that I wrote. And lastly, I know that “Pre-Med” isn’t a major, but I will likely be majoring in some science, I’m just not sure if that will be Bio, Chem, Biochem, or Neuro yet. And as for a business minor, I’m really just looking for some classes in economics, entrepreneurship, or leadership – it doesn’t have to be specifically business.
