I've been looking for some safety schools that still have fairly good biology/pre-med programs. Does anyone know of some easier to get into colleges that fit this description? The school is hopefully partially covered under the Post-9/11 GI Bill, but if not around $35,000/year. My weighted GPA is a 4.14, unweighted 3.96. SAT- 630 Math, 670 Writing, and 690 Reading. Just retook it though, definitely hoping for higher scores. And my home state is NH but I'm not looking at schools there.

Do you have any preferences for size or location?

If you need to keep costs to $35K or below (without financial aid), then you’ll need to focus on public schools. Many state flagships have out-of-state costs below that mark.

Smaller state schools that you might easily overlook include:
SUNY Geneseo
UNC Asheville
St. Mary’s College of MD (costs are over $38K)
New College of Florida (costs are over $38K)
Truman State

Centre College and Clark University are well-regarded private schools that are not super selective and have relatively low sticker prices (low $40Ks).

For location hopefully mid-Atlantic or Northeastern. And a medium sized college. Thanks!
