<p>My son is at New College of FL. I don’t think Chemical Engineering is available at any of the colleges I mentioned. I think that Drexel is pretty safe for you, academically, but I don’t know how much scholarship you’d receive. Engineering colleges are more selective, as a rule. I recommend applying to a lot of public universities. Unfortunately, the most elite public universities are very expensive, with little aid available for out-of-state students. I suggest looking at some threads under “Majors,” to ask more about Chemical Engineering programs.</p>
