I am applying to UVA, William and Mary, VT, James Madison, George Mason and Radford. What safety should I add to this list. Also looking for a couple of reaches.

Had a 3.8 GPA
2300 SAT
33 ACT

2 AP classes, 4 Honors Classes, 8 College Cred Classes. I tryed to take the hardest courses avaliable, but there just weren't that many @ my high school.

I woul say UVA as well. I think you got enough safeties and matches. Perhaps just add one more at most, such as Mary Washington or perhaps Washington and Lee. Why not look at the Top UGrad Bschools if you want to major in business, or perhaps an Ivy or two?

If you are a Virginia resident, your school would have a very good idea as to what your chances are at those schools. It seems to me that you have your safeties with those stats. If you are looking for schools with comparable costs to instate Virginia's, it's going to be a tough go. You are an excellent candidate for any reaches, in my opinion. If you are eligible for financial aid (run your numbers through the calculators), then look for those schools that can give good aid. Throw in some good merit schools as well.

I would say JMU and VT would be your safety schools. You are a shoe in to Radford and George Mason. UVA and W&M are definitely reach schools.

I applied to JMU, VT, Mary Washington, UVA and GMU this past fall and was accepted at every school except UVA. I had a 3.9 GPA, aver. SAT score, was taking 4 APs, had taken honors English and foreign lang. classes and was involved in school clubs and other activities.
