I am international student applying for Fall 2018. My major of choice is Computer Science/ Robotics. I already took the SAT once and got 1370/1600. Although, I am taking it again on 7th October and I have been getting an average of 1520 on the practice tests. My SAT II scores are 800/800 in all three of Math I, Math II and Physics. I have a TOEFL score of 108/120. Although our school doesn’t have a ranking system and our grading system is not based on GPA, I would say that i belong to top 10% of my class. As for the financial aid, I am aware that, as an international student, I am not eligible for federal aid but some colleges do have their own funding and are willing to extend their support financially. Based on the above data, i have selected a few schools:-
DREAM:-
UChicago
Yale
UPenn
ColumbiaU
JHU (will be applying ED)
CornellU
BrownU
REACH:-
NorthwesternU
UTAustin
UNC-Chapel Hill
WashingtonU in St. Louis
USC
RiceU
SAFETY:-
Ohio State University
UTDallas
Although some of the colleges above are small sized, I love big colleges with more students and traditional feel to it.
I am still not very sure about my list and need any bit of advice which is possible. Thank you!!
