I applied to SAIC (fall, undergrad) as an early action applicant. I’ve been looking everywhere trying to find about when they send out the early action decisions. It looks like a lot of people posted about their acceptances last year around december 20th, but I’m not quite sure (I was looking on twitter). The website doesn’t say anything about when applicants get their letters. Does anyone have an idea of when they’d send them out? Last year the deadline for EA was November 15th, but I think they moved it to December 15th this year.
EDIT: Yikes. I just joined, so this website is a little confusing. Not sure how to take this out of the transfer student thread, but I’m not a transfer. However, I assume they send out letters to transfers at the same time as high school seniors?
hey! I’m in the same boat and wondering when decisions will be out… I think it should be mid december which is now lmao… I’m probably going to email admissions and ask if I haven’t heard anything after christmas…
My daughter also applied EA to SAIC, and hasn’t heard back yet, either. I feel like I read that they usually take 8 weeks for decision, and that they notify via snail mail! So…I suppose it could be mid-January?
It does, indeed, seem as though many are beginning to get responses. A lot of students are posting their acceptance letters. I suppose it should be any day now. Congratulations to your son! That is awesome.
