a few more...but i think you get the picture of the kind of student i am

and made a pretty decent impression (showed interest) when the admissions person for my area came to visit the school (only like 3 other ppl were there at the meeting)

and am hoping for an interview..missed the deadline but i emailed the man...he was really nice so i think i might land one! and i think i'm a pretty likeable person.

i think i'll get in (maybe?) but my biggest problem is scholarship...think i'd get any money? how much?

I think you’ll get in. You at least have a very good shot. Financial aid at GW can be very random. I know quite a few people that got offered around the 35000 dollar range. I also know some people who are paying pretty much everything. I do even know a couple people who got a full ride though

FA there is really good, but I think you should still try to look for scholarships and apply for RD. Your stats look alright. Just wondering, why 3 AP’s? Does your school offer more? Do you know what area/major you want to get into?

thanks everybody! yeah…I assumed it would be a low reach, high target. fingers crossed. just had my interview on saturday too! went pretty well…let me know if you guys want any advice

@happyholic and I only took 3 AP classes out of choice, not that the school offers a lot more. I could’ve taken AP Bio but it wouldn’t fit in my scheduale and I didn’t have the grade for AP Chem…but yeah I think most of the AP classes are only offered senior year and i def didn’t want a load…oh well. I’m happy with my decision for my scheduale. but I’m planning on being a business major

@zoidberg93 and YAY! fingers crossed! I’d say we have a decent shot…good to know a desi in advance

would they not believe me if i told them i wanted to go to gwu since my freshman year of high school…because its the truth but im afraid they might think i’m just a brown noserr

GPA: Fine
APs: Weak
Test scores: On the lower end
ECs: Nice

Scholarships depend on family income/assets, and merit. If you’re from an upper-middle to upper class family, I would not count on much financial aid (if any).
