Hey Everyone! I recently got admitted to Saint lawrence University. When looking into my Financial Aid package, my annual cost is 82,000. I recieved a decent amount of scholarship money to help lower that amount. My question is, on the financial aid document information, it states that I have been given a “St. Lawrence Grant.” Is anyone able to explain this to me? Do I need to repay it? Is the designated sum reedemable for up to 8 semesters like the scholarship fund? I have been trying to figure this information out, but I cannot find anything about it. I will be contacting the financial aid office on Monday, but it has been at the forefront of my mind over the last few hours.
Grants do not need to be paid back. (But of course check with the college). If this is a need based award, you need to find out if you need to apply for need based aid annually, or if they guarantee your award even IF your income rises.
